The Renzoni & Galleano Journey

Truffle Pig didn't begin with a building or a brand. It began with two families who have spent their lives in California wine — and who, after four generations each, finally planted roots together in the heart of Temecula Valley.

The Truffle Pig estate over the vineyard in Temecula Valley

Robert Renzoni grew up in Buffalo, New York, the fourth generation of a family that has made wine since 1889. He returned to Temecula Valley in 2004 and launched Robert Renzoni Vineyards in 2006, building a name on Italian varietals and a hospitality-first philosophy.

Domenic Galleano is a fourth-generation viticulturist from the historic Galleano Winery in Cucamonga Valley, where his family has farmed for a century. He brings deep roots in old-vine Zinfandel and the classic California varietals that defined the region long before Temecula was on the map.

When the two families came together, they carried two centuries of combined winegrowing between them — along with a shared belief that great wine deserves great food and genuine welcome. That partnership became Truffle Pig.

Guiding the cellar is Partner and Director of Winemaking Olivia Bue, a UC Davis graduate who trained at Mollydooker in South Australia and Cakebread Cellars in Napa before settling in Temecula. Her hand connects the old-world heritage of both families to the wine in your glass today.

It's a long way from Buffalo and Cucamonga to a vineyard estate in Temecula — but every bottle, every plate at Domenico's, and every evening in the Pig Pen Lounge carries that journey. We're glad you're part of it.
